Sooo, it's been a while since my last update, I am very sorry about that! the first weeks of SBS are seminar where we learn the method and practice and readjust our brains to the system and how to look at the bible how to research historical background and so on...It has been a challenging few weeks, but there is grace and God helps us all through it! the books we have covered to far ar: Philemon, Titus, Ephesians, Galatians, Mark, Luke and 1 Thessalonians, tomorrow we do 2 Thessalonians and then Philippians at the end of the week, so the schedule is and has been and will be pretty packed, but I knew this going into it.
I am glad to have found time to build relationships though, I think it is very important, at least if I plan on staying here it is good to know people outside of YWAM and SBS, so I have joined a home-group from my church- a bunch o f young adults that come together every week and share life and hang out and talk about God. This has been such a blessing to me and still is! I am also making good friends in my SBS, everyone gets a long really well and its such a blessing to be a part of such a dynamic, loving, school! God's peace, unity and joy really is over it!
God has been teaching me lately how he is a very personal God and how he longs not only to have relationship with us so that we can give that on, but even if we didn't he'd still want to be in relationship with us and how as it is in a marriage, there are some things that only a husband and wife share, and that is what makes their relationship special, God wants that for us as well! might seem funny, but I didn't realise that until last sunday, when God smashed me with that! [never thought I would say I had been smashed by God...]
so God is doing cool stuff and I am so so so blessed to be able to dig into his word everyday and get such a thorough overview and big picture of the bible as a foundation for the rest of my life in studying the lining, God breathed word of God!!

SBS is about to start!

Sooooo, I've had a great time here back at the Sunshine Coast! I have been missionbuilding for the DTS here; that means making food buying groceries doing some maintenance and just hanging out with the students! Its AWESOME! I just love being useful where it's needed! I connected really well with the students and was so blessed by the friendships i made! They are on outreach now in Taiwan and Thailand/Cambodia. I can't wait to go to their graduation and hear all their stories of what God has done through them! I have also been able to hang out with and missionbuild for the September DTS for two weeks before my SBS which was great! they are a cool bunch and Im so exited to be studying alongside them and seeing them around the base!

Yesterday we all moved in to our SBS accommodation; three beautiful villas by the river in Mountain Creek Sunshine Coast! we are so blessed! most of us arrived yesterday and some today. This morning a lot of us went canoeing on the river to a nice spot with a rope swing, it was sweet! I feel like we will get to rest and have a lot of fun in between studying so hard, and that makes me happy!

Tomorrow we start for real. It's craazy! I feel like I have waited so long for this and now finally it's happening! we do not really have an orientation week, we get straight in to Philemon and the method of inductive bible study! I like that, less waiting around :P so here at the house we are all trying to mentally prepare our selves ( if possible) and rest :) so exited to see what God wants to teach me and how God wants to grow me and shape me to become more like him!

Relax!

Ok, so today I got to just chill and do whatever I wanted for the first time in a looong time! So I when't to the beach and played my new guitar and relaxed!!:D

AUSTRALIA

so..I haven't written in a while, because I've been too busy, being on holidays and packing to go to Aus and stuff like that, but now I am here and I have been spending some time with the rellies the last month, Its been great I've done all sorts of stuff, swimming with sharks, getting pooped on by lorekiets (birds) and visiting old and new parliament house of Australia and a heap of other things! Today I drove my family to the airport and then proceeded up the coast to Maroochydoore on the Sunshine Coast where I will be living for the next who knows how long? :) It's been really good to catch up with and meet old friends and I'm stoked to be working as practical help at the base two months prior to my SBS :) Ill try to update not to rarely, but I must say there will probably mostly be photos :P
