The Big Old Testament

so the old testament has begun! It was cool being done with the NT, we had a huge oral exam at the beginning of the year after doing all the Johns, and it was sweet to just reflect and look back at all I had learned, there is a lot I don't even realise goes into my brain, and that just comes up in conversations and stuff, this gives me hope that at least somethings are filed somewhere in my brain.
things are definitely moving fast, we have reached our half way mark of SBS and to celebrate we have a long weekend off and we are going on a retreat to rainbow beach 2 hours north from here, it is a break that comes just at the right time! starting the OT has been a bit rough as the workload is bigger and the way we have to readjust our brain to thinking different takes a little time, but I feel like I am getting better at it, and even if the workload is a little bigger, the stuff I am learning makes it all worth it, I have been so overwhelmed seeing God's sovereign love all throughout the first books of the Pentateuch, just how much he cares and how he is always the same and everything points back to Jesus Christ and it just reveals that God had a plan all along and his plan was always to save his people and set them apart as holy so they could be with him and now that has happened, and I am so glad we have his spirit in us and that he showed us how to live by coming as man and then gave the ultimate sacrifice for atonement of sin and guilt and shame - himself! [Halleluja! :P]

Anyways I am having a good time and I thank you all for your prayers and support!!
